Cervical Spinal Interventionalist Course

This intensive boutique style workshop will feature basic cervical spinal injection techniques, providing a hands on didactic educational session to provide a complete understanding of the indications for interventional cervical injections and the basic knowledge to give the participant confidence in performing these injections. The workshop will improve your basic knowledge of spinal anatomy and utilization of fluoroscopy to identify the important landmarks to perform successful cervical spinal injections. Attendees must be PGY-4 or higher and have completed a lumbar interventional course. First come first serve basis.

This course is certified for 19 hours of category 1 AOA CME credits. At the end of the course participants will be knowledgeable in:

1. Risks and utilization of fluoroscopy
2. Fluoroscopic spinal anatomy in relation to interventional injections
3. Indications and contraindications for cervical and thoracic spinal injections
4. Proper technique for cervical and thoracic spinal injections
5. Risks of spinal injections
