The Rob Gotlin Community Leadership Grant

The Rob Gotlin Community Leadership Award supports innovative projects that reduce physical or environmental barriers for individuals with disabilities. Funding of up to $1,500 per year is awarded for projects aimed at advancing accessibility and inclusivity within the community, promoting physical and emotional wellness, and optimizing access to healthcare.

Grant details:

  • Eligibility: PGY2-4 residents and fellows in PM&R
  • Funding: Up to $1,500 per year
  • Project Focus: Enhancing accessibility and inclusivity within the community, promoting physical and emotional wellness, and optimizing access to healthcare

Proposals are encouraged to consider the following: 

  • Adaptive sports and recreational programs 
  • Support groups  
  • Community outreach programs 
  • Lifestyle, nutritional, or exercise programs 
  • ADA approved constructs 
  • Assistive devices
